This Sunday we again return to National Boulevard and the weather gods appear to be on our side once again. I am sure we will once again have 6 massive grades of racing. The racing will return to the hour or so we normally have. See you all there.
Note: The crits will commence at 9.00am with no further entries being taken after 8.45am. This policy WILL be strictly enforced, so if you do want to race then turn up with plenty of time to spare
2012 "Super Series" Race 1 was run today in hot but ideal conditions and with 75 starters the bunch finish proved to be a nervous finish. Ultimately scratch got up for the win but with only around 200m remaining reeled in the front of the race being the 15min bunch. Click here to view the results and current "Super Series" standings.
Next "Super Series" race is the Bradley Family Memorial on the 04/03/2012 at Lancefield over 60km.
Beautiful sunny skies greeted 92 riders for the second crit of the year and all grades were run at a high speed, with A grade averaging 43.5km/h. RESULTS HERE. Handicap Results and Race Times. The crits were shortened to allow the running of an 8 lap handicap as a dry-run for next months big money Alan Anderson Wheelrace.
